Join Ranfone Training Systems and ACES for the 5th Annual Charity Workout & Food Drive, a morning of movement, local businesses, new friendships, and giving back to our Hamden neighbors.
Food donations will support families within the ACES community, and monetary donations will support Connecticut Foodshare. This year, we’re working toward a $3,600 fundraising goal, 44% more than the $2,500 raised last year.
RTS is honored to host, and everyone is invited. If you already have a gym you call home, we’d still love to welcome you. Walking into an unfamiliar space can feel intimidating, so come with a friend, bring your family, and know there’s a place for you here. Join the workout or come to watch, meet new friends, and enjoy the morning.
In an effort to raise even more money this year, we’ve added a silent auction featuring community-donated items, including contributions from small businesses owned by RTS members. It’s also an opportunity to discover and support the local businesses that help make our community what it is.
Throughout the morning, enjoy:

An all-ages, coach-led charity workout.

A guided cool-down following the workout.

A silent auction featuring local products, services, and gifts.

A pop-up photo booth to capture memories with friends and family.

Free assessments offered by ProMotion Performance Therapy, an independently owned practice located inside RTS.

Coffee and treats generously donated by returning supporter Whitney Donut & Sandwich Shop.

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. The workout starts at 8:00 a.m., with the morning wrapping up by 10:15 a.m. Please bring $10 and a food item per attendee.
Pre-register at https://events.rtsct.com/ to help make check-in smoother and receive any required paperwork ahead of time. Each adult should complete their own registration. A parent or guardian can include children under 18 on their form. Walk-ins are welcome, too.
Can’t attend? You can still contribute financially, offer an item for the silent auction, or drop off food through November 20 at:

ACES: 205 Skiff Street, Hamden.

Ranfone Training Systems: 109 Sanford Street, Hamden.

Whitney Donut & Sandwich Shop: 2574 Whitney Avenue, Hamden.

Requested food donations include water, juice, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, oatmeal, beans, canned vegetables and fruit, and snacks. Please bring unopened items within their expiration dates and check operating hours before dropping off donations.
Invite someone who would enjoy being part of the morning. Every invitation helps us bring more neighbors together and do more for the families we’re supporting.
Making Hamden Stronger, Together.
