Car Burglaries On The Rise In Cheshire: Police
Police say they've seen an uptick in thefts from motor vehicle during the night hours.

CHESHIRE, CT — In light of an increase in reported thefts from motor vehicles during the night hours, Cheshire Police are urging residents to take the necessary precautions to avoid becoming the victim of a crime.
“LOCK your car doors, don’t leave valuables in plain view, and don’t leave your keys and your key fobs in your cars,” Cheshire Police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Don’t make it easy for the thieves. Crime prevention starts at home.
“Lastly, if you hear something or see something CALL US. Don’t wait until the morning, by then it’s too late. We have officers working 24/7 who are as interested in protecting you, your family, and your property as you are.”
