Carmina Burana - New Haven Chorale
O Fortuna! The New Haven Chorale Performs Carmina Burana!

The New Haven Chorale welcomes the Hartt School choruses and the Hartt Percussion Ensemble, the Connecticut Children's Chorus, under the direction of Meredith Neumann, and singers from Manchester Community College, under the direction of Carolina Flores, for a gala performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Featured in this 1956 piano and percussion version, which crackles with vibrant rhythms, are two brilliant pianists, Éric Trudel and Miguel Campinho. The glorious sound of over 200 energetic voices, along with three wonderful soloists, soprano Amanda Hall, tenor Christopher Sokolowski, and baritone Nicholas Janitzky, all under the direction of Edward Bolkovac, promises to make this a memorable performance.
