Cheshire Approves Raise for Town Manager
The Town Council voted on the salary increase this week.

The Cheshire Town Council approved a 3 percent raise for Town Manager Michael Milone by an 8-1 vote Tuesday night, according to the New Haven Register.
Luther Turmelle of the Register reports Milone will make $150,365 with the raise, which was part of the annual performance review the council does with Milone.
Milone, who has been town manager since 2000, received a 2.5 percent raise last year, according to Turmelle.

Republican Councilman Tom Ruocco cast the lone dissenting vote, telling Turmelle he voted against it in part because he felt “the pay increase was a little rich for my tastes.”
