Cheshire Bus Driver Suspended for Trying to Sell Expensive Water Purifiers to Seniors Resigns: Report
The driver was accused of making sales pitches to seniors while they rode the bus.

A part-time bus driver for the Cheshire Senior Center resigned on Thursday after being suspended for a month for allegedly trying to sell expensive water purifiers to seniors while they were riding the bus, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Liliana Kendrick received a series of written warnings in May after seniors complained that she would tout the benefits of ionized alkaline water and tried to get them to buy purifiers that cost more than $1,000.
Kendrick, who was also accused of using the bus to deliver a gallon of water to another resident, was suspended until June 30 and returned to work this week before resigning, according to the Record-Journal.
