Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Sponsors a Poster Contest with $100 first prize

The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a poster contest. The Chamber's creative consultant, Ron Gagliardi, has designed a poster patterned after the well-known doors posters of Dublin, Ireland and Boston, Massachusetts and our own doors poster here in Cheshire. Local photographer and longtime Cheshire Chamber of Commerce member, Rick Ciaburri took the photos and composed the poster featuring 16 steeples, towers and cupolas around Cheshire. All you need to do to enter the contest is to buy a poster for $5.oo. They are available at the Chamber's office, 195 South Main Street during business hours, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Your $5.00 purchase price is your entry fee for the contest. The person who identifies the most locations of the images will win a $100 gift certificate at Rick Ciaburri's studio. There are other prizes as well, including an autographed copy of Ron's book about the history of Cheshire, Arcadia Publishing's Images of America: Cheshire. The posters are in color and printed on heavy, 11" x 17" stock. Participants have until March 15, 2017 to travel the town, identify the locations of the steeples, towers and cupolas, list their locations on a piece of paper and submit them to the Chamber.
