Yes, currently elected to the Cheshire ZBA

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I am a firm believer in a common sense approach in resolving town zoning issues with our neighbors. The ability to work with and strengthen our community by interpreting regulations using common sense helps our families and businesses thrive, which is very important to me. Regulations are there as a baseline, but looking at individual situations might call for exceptions, something I am used to doing on a regular basis in my field of work. Anyone can enforce a regulation, but it takes experience and time to do the right thing. Having a balance of great neighborhoods and schools as well as a strong business community lowers the financial tax burdens on our families, creating stability and a more prosperous future for everyone. This is why I am running again for Zoning Board of Appeals and look forward to continuing to serve our Cheshire community.
