Cheshire High School Fall Sports: Past Titles, 2018 Schedules

CHESHIRE, CT — Practice is now officially underway for all eight CIAC-sanctioned fall sports in Connecticut, with boys and girls cross country, field hockey, football, boys and girls soccer, girls swimming and girls volleyball teams setting out on their quests for league and state championships.

Among schools in Patch communities in New Haven County, Cheshire is the all-time leader with 69 fall team championships, followed by Guilford (40), Branford (25) and Amity Regional (22).

Area schools looking to repeat their 2017 state titles are Daniel Hand field hockey (M), football (L) and boys soccer (L); Pomperaug boys cross country (L) and girls cross country (L); and North Branford field hockey (S), Cheshire girls swimming (L) and Lauralton Hall girls swimming (M).
