Cheshire High School Partnering with Naugatuck Valley Community College

Students can earn college credits under new program.

Cheshire High School students will be able to earn college credits under a new partnership with Naugatuck Valley Community College, according to the Cheshire Citizen.

The Citizen reports that the first class in the free program will be Intro to Computer Aided Drafting, while other classes being considered are Business, Personal Finance, Food Preparation, and Child Development.

Earned credits will be transferrable to any community college in the state, in addition to any state college except the University of Connecticut or its satellites, according to the Citizen.
