Cheshire High School Ranks Among Top 50 In CT: New Report

The school was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the top 100 public high schools in the state.

CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire High School is ranked among the top 100 in Connecticut, according to a new report from U.S. News & World Report.

Cheshire High School was ranked No. 43 in the state.

The rankings come from the 2024 Best High Schools list published earlier this week by U.S. News & World Report.

Connecticut public high schools ranked second in the nation, with just under 43 percent of its schools in the top 25 percent.

State-by-state performance is based solely on which states have the largest proportion of schools in the top 25 percent. Massachusetts once again leads in the ranking.

The rankings also include the best magnet, charter and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) schools.
