Cheshire Man Accused of Striking Wife in Head with Frying Pan Multiple Times before Fleeing State: Report
The man was recently arrested as a fugitive from justice in Delaware on the local charges stemming from the domestic incident.

CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire man arrested as a fugitive from justice in Delaware is accused of striking his wife in the head with a frying pan several times and strangling her before fleeing the state, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Cheshire Police announced that Bradley Michaels, 39, of Mountain Road, was arrested as a fugitive from justice in Wilmington, Delaware, on Aug. 27 on the local arrest warrant on charges of second-degree assault and second-degree strangulation.
The charges stem from the domestic incident that occurred in Cheshire on Aug. 23.

Michaels has been extradited to Connecticut and was ordered to undergo a competency evaluation and is scheduled to be back in court on Sept. 29, according to the Record-Journal.
