The man won big on a lucky scratch-off ticket recently.
CHESHIRE, CT — A Cheshire man won $30,000 playing the lottery, according to the CT Lottery. Matthew Gray won playing the 30X Cash 9th Edition game, a scratch.
He purchased the lucky ticket Friday, Sept. 2, at the Food Mart in Plainville.
There are more than 1 million 30X Cash 9th Edition, a scratch-off ticket with the highest prize being $30,000. Players have a 1 in 3.53 chance of winning, according to the CT Lottery.
