Cheshire Police Announce DUI Checkpoints for Thanksgiving Week
The department will conduct sobriety checkpoints and there will be additional DUI enforcement roving patrols during the holiday week.

The Cheshire Police Department will conduct DUI Sobriety Checkpoints over the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend.
The department announced the following checkpoint schedule:
Wednesday, November 25 from 6 p.m. until 2a.m:

The location of this checkpoint will be on South Main St. in the area of King Rd. It is anticipated that a secondary location of Highland Ave. in the area of Weeks Rd. will be utilized during the second half of the checkpoint.
Friday, November 27 from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m.:

The location of this checkpoint will be on Waterbury Rd. in the area of Interstate 84.
In addition to these DUI Sobriety Checkpoints, police said there will be additional DUI Enforcement roving patrols scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 25, Friday, Nov. 27, and Saturday, Nov. 28.
