Cheshire Police Blotter: Feb. 19 Through March 9, 2026

Recent arrests by the Cheshire Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.

CHESHIRE, CT — The following information has been provided by the Cheshire Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Mohana R. Oshea, 59, of Cheshire, was arrested Feb. 19 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of March 24, according to state judicial records.

Matthew A. Dean, 45, of Chesire, was arrested Feb. 20 on charges of third-degree assault, risk of injury to child, and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of April 30.

George Craig, 40, of Winchester, was arrested Feb. 25 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of April 1.

Robert R. Monahan, 78, of Cheshire, was arrested Feb. 26 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 29.

Brianna N. Bowen, 21, of Pennsylvania, was arrested Feb. 28 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of March 30.

Charles J. Bowtruczyk, 70, of Middlefield, was arrested March 3 on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of April 2.

Demitrios Kokis, 47, of Meriden, was arrested March 6 on charges of third-degree larceny, and issuing a bad check over $2,000. He was released after posting a $2,000 bond with a court date of March 27.

Steve Evans, 47, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested March 7 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 14.

Daibert De La Rosa Cabral, 21, of Waterbury, was arrested March 9 on charges of third-degree identity theft, third-degree computer crime, and criminal impersonation. He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 14.
