Cheshire Police Blotter: Jan. 12 - Jan 16

The following arrest information was provided by the Cheshire Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An investigation into a string of thefts has led Cheshire police to arrest a juvenile on multiple charges of larceny. Details of the case are unavailable do to the child's age.

Police this week were also kept busy addressing DUI incidents, with stops leading to three separate arrests, as well as addressing several other motor vehicle infractions and misdemeanors. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Cheshire Police Department reported the following arrests:

Jan. 12

Jessica Lynn Niek, 30, of 45 Highland St. in Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain proper lane, Jan. 12.

Jan. 13

Jason Anthony Demagistris, 34, of 5 Weathers Road in North Haven was charged with two counts of criminal violation of a protective order and two counts of second-degree harassment, Jan. 13.

Jan. 14

Juvenile offender, no age or address given, was charged with four counts of sixth-degree larceny, one count of fifth-degree larceny, two counts of fourth-degree larceny, eight counts of third-degree larceny, one count of second-degree larceny and conspiracy charges to each, Jan. 14.

Jan. 15


Matthew Sullivan, 24, of no given address, was charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief, Jan. 15.

Jan. 16

Nathan Paul Zentek, 19, of 783 Ward Lane in Cheshire, was charged with failure to drive right, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving under the influence and third-degree forgery, Jan. 16.

Robert Anthony Zarrella, 28, of 596 Old Colony Road in Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence, creating unnecessary noise and operating a motor vehicle with illegible license plates, Jan. 16.
