Cheshire Police Blotter: March 11 Through March 30, 2026
Recent arrests by the Cheshire Police Department. All charges are allegations and not convictions.
CHESHIRE, CT — The following information has been provided by the Cheshire Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Kevin M. Swingle, 37, of Shelton, was arrested March 11 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was being held in lieu of a $100 bond with a court date of April 15, according to state judicial records.
Zoltan A. Verrillo, 40, of Cheshire, was arrested March 13 on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $15,000 bond with a court date of April 21.

Alex J. Moina, 21, of Cheshire, was arrested March 14 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, and improper passing – unsafe distance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of April 20.
Kara M. Robinson, 34, of Cheshire, was arrested March 14 on charges of disorderly conduct and second-degree violating conditions of release. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond with a court date of May 21.

Simon Vasquez Bautista, 46, of Orlando, Florida, was arrested March 16 on a charge of violation of protective order. He was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond with a court date of May 8.
Daniel K. Algilani, 44, of Cheshire, was arrested March 17 on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation / suffocation, and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of May 13.
Jose L. Morales, 45, of New Haven, was arrested March 18 on a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released after posting a $500 bond with a court date of May 13.
Robert F. Rodriguez, 38, of Cheshire, was arrested March 23 on a charge of cruelty to animals. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 6.
Jalan Hayle, 26, of Waterbury, was arrested March 27 on charges of first-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation, fraudulent use of auto teller, and criminal attempt at first-degree larceny. He was released after posting an $85,000 bond with a court date of May 15.
Todd Kornacki, 55, of Milford, was arrested March 30 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of May 11.
David W. Miller, 54, of Meriden, was arrested March 30 on charges of second-degree unlawful restraint and second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of June 11.
