Cheshire Police Charge Two Men for Attempting to Cash Fraudulent Checks

Two others face conspiracy charges related to incident at United Bank.

Cheshire police arrested two Hartford men for allegedly attempting to cash fraudulent checks at United Bank on Maple Avenue and charged two others with conspiracy, according to the Cheshire Citizen.

The Citizen reports that Tyrone Robinson Jr. 19, and Ellis Dixson, 30, were arrested Wednesday for attempting to cash the fraudulent checks.

The suspects had fled the scene by the time police arrived at the bank, but they were later located in a vehicle that matched a description of the getaway car, according to the Citizen.

Stephen Arnold, 50, and Kemo Teal, 38, both of Hartford, were also in the vehicle and were arrested on conspiracy charges, according to the Citizen.
