Cheshire Police to Host Annual Tip-a-Cop Event

The event will benefit the Connecticut Special Olympics and be held on Sunday, Sept. 27.

The Cheshire Police Department will hold its annual Tip-a-Cop event in support of the Connecticut Special Olympics on Sunday, Sept. 27.

The event will be held at the Viron Rondo Osteria, located at 1721 Highland Avenue, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Please come out and join members of the Cheshire Police Department as we hold our annual Tip-a-Cop event in support of the Connecticut Special Olympics.

The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in sharing gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

This year’s Tip-a-Cop will be held at the Viron Rondo Osteria, located at 1721 Highland Ave in Cheshire, on Sunday, September 27th from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. One hundred percent of all “tips” raised will go directly to support Special Olympics of Connecticut.

So come out and enjoy some fine food and drink while one of Cheshire’s finest “serve” you in our effort to support Special Olympics Connecticut!
