Cheshire Public Library Is Officially Fine Free

CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire Public Library is officially fine free, according to officials.

“Cheshire Library quietly stopped charging fines during the early days of the pandemic, but now it’s been changed in the Town Ordinance so it’s official Library policy!” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “There are a few exceptions, but for the most part fines on overdue items are a thing of the past.

“Bring those old library books back, no questions asked!”
