CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire Public Schools, except for Highland Elementary School, are dismissing early on Tuesday, Sept. 4, due to the heat, Superintendent of Schools Jeff Solan announced. All aftercare programs, including Highland, are all canceled, Solan wrote in a post on Twitter. Open houses are on as scheduled Tuesday evening, Solan said.
