Cheshire Reaches Class LL Softball Final
The Rams took care of business against third-seeded Darien in the semifinals and will take on No. 1 Southington in the title game.

The Cheshire softball team is heading to its first state championship game since 1995.
The Rams reached the Class LL title game on the strength of the two-hit pitching of senior Mackenzie Juodaitis and some power provided by sophomore Abby Abramson in a 4-0 semifinal victory over third-seeded Darien Wednesday night at DeLuca Field in Stratford.
Abramson hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning while Casey Harding and Sara Como added run-scoring singles and Juodaitis took care of the rest, finishing with 10 strikeouts in the shutout.
