Kathryn Gniadek is the Math Department Chairman at Sacred Heart Academy.

Sacred Heart Academy faculty member Kathryn Gniadek has had an article published in the December 2014 issue of Liguorian magazine.
“Our Celestial Company” was selected as part of an emphasis on angels as God’s messengers in Christian History in the issue.
A resident of Cheshire, Gniadek joined the mathematics department at Sacred Heart in 2002 and was named chair of the department in 2005. She earned a BS from Fairfield University and a MS from UConn.

She serves as the Academy’s UCONN Early College Experience (ECE) site representative and as moderator of the Mu Alpha Theta, the National Math Honor Society. In addition to her teaching and administrative duties at Sacred Heart, Gniadek, a dogmatic theology graduate of Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, teaches Scripture study at an archdiocesan biblical school.
Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, a Catholic college preparatory school founded in 1946 by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, successfully prepares young women, grades 9 –12 for learning, service and achievement in a global society.
