Cheshire Resident Receives National Award from Girl Scouts of Connecticut
Elizabeth Roth of Cheshire Receives GSUSA Appreciation Pin by Girl Scouts of Connecticut

Two volunteers across the state were recognized by Girl Scouts of Connecticut for their service when they received a national award, the GSUSA Appreciation Pin, at its Annual Meeting.
Elizabeth Roth of Cheshire, CT, who serves on the Cheshire Service Unit, was one of the recipients. The GSUSA Appreciation Pin recognizes an adult volunteer who actively recognizes, understands, and practices the values of inclusive behavior and who has delivered outstanding service, above expectation for her or his held position, to at least one geographic area or service unit within Connecticut.
The recipients of this award are also known to be instrumental in running events and trainings, recruiting and retaining both girl and adult members, and ensuring that Service Units are organized and run smoothly.

She is a Gold Award recipient herself and understands the commitment it takes to achieve Gold.
