Cheshire native, Ann O'Brien will have her artwork displayed at the Duncaster Art Gallery throughout the month of October.

Cheshire native, Ann O’Brien will have her artwork displayed at the Duncaster Art Gallery throughout the month of October. The opening reception of this exhibit will be on Sunday, October 2 at 4 p.m. The exhibit will be open to the public weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until October 28. The gallery is located on the Duncaster campus at 40 Loeffler Road.
O’Brien has been painting for 10 years now. Her paintings range from still lives to landscapes and seascapes. Inspirations for these scenes come from her travels. Ann enjoys experimenting with oil and acrylic paint although favors pastels because of the vibrant colors that are produced. After retiring from her job as a registered nurse, Ann pursued her lifelong passion for creating art. She currently holds memberships in several Connecticut and Rhode Island Art Leagues and continues to show her work in those areas.
Attendance for the opening reception on October 2 is free and open to the public; however, advance registration is required. Visitors are welcome to view the exhibit weekdays in October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
