Cheshire Residents Speak Out Against Planned Subdivision
Several neighborhood residents voiced their concerns about a proposed 21-home subdivision at a PZC hearing on Monday night.

CHESHIRE — Several Cheshire residents spoke out against a planned 21-home subdivision near the intersection of Cornwall Avenue and Mountain Road at a Planning and Zoning Commission hearing on Monday night, according to the New Haven Register.
Luther Turmelle of the Register reports the residents said the project is ill-suited for the area’s wooded surroundings, citing water issues that they say could cause irreparable damage to the neighborhood.
The hearing was the continuation of a meeting that began in March and the PZC has until July 13 to make a decision on the application for the subdivision, according to Turmelle.
