Pomperag has displaced Tolland as the state's No. 1-ranked team, according to the latest coaches poll.
Pomperaug vaulted to the top spot by virtue of besting Tolland 55-80 at last weekend's Wickham Invitational on Manchester's famed Wickham park course.
