Cheshire at Southington in Third Place for CPTV Sports' UChoose Thanksgiving Football Game

CPTV Sports wants to know who the most passionate high school football fans in Connecticut are and if you’d like to see Cheshire at Southington broadcast live on Thanksgiving, then you better start voting.

Norwich Free Academy at New London is currently in the lead and is about 4,000 votes ahead of Cheshire at Southington.

Voting is open until 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and the game that gets the most votes will be broadcast live on Thanksgiving. The winner will be announced on Friday, Nov. 21, during CPTV Sports’ final live Friday night game of the regular season — 7 p..m., when Derby meets Woodland.

Official vote count as of noon on Wednesday, Nov. 19:

• Leading with 7,961: Norwich Free Academy at New London

• Second: Bethel at Brookfield: 7,046

• Third: Cheshire at Southington: 3,934

• Granby at Canton: 504

• Fairfield Prep at West Haven: 98
