Cheshire Student Awarded Senior Center Membership Scholarship

CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire High School senior Megan Rossi has been awarded a scholarship from the Cheshire Senior Center Membership Association to pursue her major studies at Fairfield University.

Rossi is the recipient of the Cheshire Senior Center Membership Association, Inc.’s third annual scholarship.

“To meet the requirements, their field of interest was in the area of Social Work, Recreation Therapy, or Gerontology,” according to a news release. “Another requirement is actively performing volunteer work for the betterment of older adults in the community.”
