The Cheshire Symphony Orchestra Concert. Frédéric Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor and César Franck's Symphony in in D minor.

Join the Cheshire Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Hilarie Clark Moore for an evening of classical masterpieces featuring Frédéric Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor with pianist Gabriel Landstedt and César Franck's Symphony in D minor.
Hailed as an accomplished and versatile pianist whose performances have brought him international acclaim, Gabriel Landstedt continues to garner success as a prizewinner of numerous competitions, among them the National Federation of Music Clubs Young Artist Competition, Architecture of Music, Ocean Music, Royal Sound, WPTA Finland, and UBC Concerto Competitions. Festival appearances include the Klavierfestival Lindlar, Chautauqua Piano Program, Art of the Piano, Eastern Music Festival, Salzburg International Summer Academy, and the New Mexico Chamber Music Festival.
Landstedt has performed solo and collaborative recitals throughout North America and Europe. His performances in 2024-2025 took place at venues including Carnegie Hall, Fazioli Concert Hall, and Palau de la Música Catalana. Landstedt made his concerto debut at the age of sixteen with the New Mexico Philharmonic after winning the Jackie McGehee Young Artists’ Competition. An avid collaborative pianist, in 2021 he established the vocal-piano ensemble Keyprano Duo with his wife, Allison Landstedt, soprano.

The concert will be held at St. Peter’s Church 59 Main Street Cheshire CT. The concert will start at 7:30. Tickets will be sold at the door. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and free for children age 5 and under.
