Superintendent of Schools Jeff Solan said the developments will not delay the start of the school year, the Register reports. Cheshire has a staggered opening planned with student orientations from Sept. 8 to Sept. 10 with the first day of school Sept. 11.

Students will have in-person classes two days a week and attend classes remotely three days per week, according to the Register.
