Cheshire Teen Gives Away Free Prom Dresses

The Cheshire High School student collected more than 125 prom dresses to give away for free.

CHESHIRE, CT — A Cheshire High School student continued a family tradition by giving away free prom dresses over the weekend, according to multiple reports.

NBC Connecticut reported that Jillian Falcone, a sophomore, collected more than 125 prom dresses to give away for free during an event at ALLIN Salon in Cheshire on Sunday.

Falcone told NBC Connecticut that she asked for dress donations through community forums on social media. She said her sister started the idea two years ago because of how expensive prom dresses are.

Falcone has a younger sister who she hopes will continue the tradition, according to WTNH News 8.
