Cheshire Winds Up Third In Final Field Hockey Poll
The Rams enjoyed a perfect regular season before falling to two-time defending champion Staples in the Class L finals Sunday.

CHESHIRE, CT — Despite a championship game loss Sunday, the Cheshire High School field hockey team placed third among voters in the final field hockey coaches poll for 2018.
The Rams had a perfect 16-0 regular season record and won three games in the Class L tournament before bowing to two-time defending champion Staples in the finals at Wethersfield High School.
Staples was first in the balloting, receiving all eight first-place votes, while Class S champion Immaculate was second.
