Cheshire Woman Charged with Stealing from Horse Farm Owner

The woman was a volunteer at the horse farm and allegedly stole checks and gift cards from several people.

A Cheshire woman, who had been volunteering at the Morris horse farm, is accused of stealing $2,225 from the farm’s owner and his girlfriend, according to the Waterbury Republican-American.

The Rep-Am reports Jessica Poligastro, 27, of 172 N. Brooksvale Road, was recently arrested on a warrant.

Poligastro is accused of stealing checks, and gift cards, from the couple and another $1,000 from a third person, according to the Rep-Am.
