Cheshire Woman Sued Over Crash That Killed Author: Report
A 43-year-old man, who was a published author, was killed in a head-on collision in July.

CHESHIRE, CT — The family of a Shelton man killed in a July crash is seeking $10 million in a lawsuit filed against a Cheshire woman, according to the Connecticut Post.
John Kwochka was pronounced dead at the scene of a July 14 crash on Cheshire Road in Bethany after a pickup truck operated by Amanda Cashmore, 21, of Cheshire, crossed into the opposite lane and struck Kwochka’s car head-on, according to the Post. Kwochka was 43.
The lawsuit claims Kwochka’s death was the result of Cashmore’s negligence and carelessness.

Kwochka was the author of a romance novel, Sacrifice Your Love, which was published in 2010 and was working on a second book at the time of his death, according to the Post.
