Cheshire's Emma Farrel Honored Again as NE-10 Conference Rookie of the Week

Cheshire’s Emma Farrel, a freshman on the Southern Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team, was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this year by virtue of her performance in three games last week.

Farrel had a team-high 11 points for the Owls last week, including seven goals and four assists. She registered two assists against New Haven, scored four goals against Mercy and collected three goals and two assists against Franklin Pierce. Farrel also had nine draw controls during the week.

Farrel got this week off to a good start as well, scoring four goals in the Owls’ 20-18 loss to AIC Tuesday night in Springfield, Mass.
