Cheshire's Emma Farrel Named NE-10 Rookie of the Week

Cheshire’s Emma Farrel was named as the Northeast-10 Conference’s Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Farrel, a freshman on the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team, scored the only goal in last week’s 1-0 victory over Mercy on a marker that came with only 1:30 left in regulation. It was her third goal of the year.

Dolloff turned away five shots in the shutout over Mercy. It was her third career shutout.

Southern Connecticut returns to action tomorrow for a road game at LIU-Post.
