The Cheshire High School Boys Cross Country Team shone through once again taking 2nd Place at the Winding Trails Invitational 3.1 mile race in Farmington on September 24, 2022. Their score was 83 points finishing behind 1st Place Glastonbury 67 points & New Canaan was 3rd with 96 points.

Cheshire’s Tyler Caron finished 4th with a time of 16:54. He was followed by Daniel D’Souza 14th time 17:38, Colin Grevelding 15th time 17:42, James Boyd 18th time 17:51, and Jack Lengyel 31st with a time of 18:24.
Head Coach Pam Gunneson was pleased with her team’s 2nd place finish. “The boys had a great day! They all ran very well and we were able to finish in front of New Canaan who had finished in front of us at the Wilton Invitational. Mike Grego(Assistant Coach) and I are so proud of all of them!” stated Gunneson.

The next event will be the SCC Divisional Championship at the Guilford Fairgrounds on Thursday September 29th. Race Time 5:30 p.m.
