CHS Boys CC Team Win 2nd Place At 9-19-23 CC Meet In Branford.

The Cheshire High School Boys Cross Country Team continue to make strides at their meets. They won 2nd Place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 against Branford, Hamden, & Hillhouse high schools at the Branford Supply Ponds in Branford. The student-athletes ran a 2.7 mile course.

The Rams Daniel D’Souza was the top runner again from the Rams CC Team to finish. He was the 3rd runner overall to finish the race. The top runner was Alex Medina 15:12 and #2 runner Connor Garrett with a time of 15:18 both from Hamden. D’ Souza’s time was 15:24. Coming in 4th Place again was the Rams James Boyd with a time of 15:39, #5 Tyler Caron 15:49-he moved up from his previous meet on 9 -12-23, #7 Jack Lengyel 16:35, #11 Hanan Talipan-Pinedo 16:53 ,#13 Zachary Chasen 17:21, #14 Raine Ma 17:23, #21 Qasim Pasha 18:18, #23 Elias Vuori 18:59, #24 Connor Rayball 19:08, #25 Colin Daly 19:16, #27 Miquel Monreal 19:21.5, #28 Dylan Scalice 19:21.5, #30 Jack Wheelahan 19:31, #33 Jeffrey Yam 20:23, #36 Gariel Njeim 20:40, #37 Anthony Mariani 20:41, #41 Bennett Radashaw 21:59, #42 Josh Lengyel 22:33, & #45 Douglas Henderson 23:12

The next event for the Cheshire High School Boys Cross Country Teams is the Winding Trails Invitational in Farmington on Saturday, September 23rd. The race time for the Junior Varsity Squad is 1:30 p.m. and for the Varsity Team is 2:30 p.m.
