A surprise was the competitiveness of the Amity girls. We barely beat them. Alexa Ciccone was the Housatonic Champion. She set the course record. Her time was the fastest of the day,” stated Schaefer. He commented further, “Amity challenged us and we responded. Our team effort was forceful. We are ahead of last year's team's skills, and last year's team was talented! Our season is going well, but there is plenty more work to do,” stated Schaefer.
