Officials are asking community members to help reduce the potential spread of the virus and protect residents, especially those with higher risk factors.

Based on guidance from local, state and federal officials along with guidelines for “social distancing and community spread prevention,” the town has closed the following facilities and canceled all programs and activities effective March 13:

  • Library
  • Senior Center
  • Youth Center
  • Community Pool
  • Artsplace
  • Yellow House

“While Town Hall remains open to the public, we strongly encourage residents and businesses to conduct business with the Town electronically and through the mail,” officials wrote in a news release. “Town staff will still be working in our closed facilities and available by email and phone.”
