House Fire Extinguished In Cheshire
All of the residents made it out safely, according to fire officials.

CHESHIRE, CT — No injuries were reported after crews extinguished a house fire Wednesday in Cheshire, according to officials.
Firefighters responded to the fire around 10:50 a.m. in the area of West Main Street between Ives Row and Peck Lane, according to Cheshire police.
The first-arriving crews reported fire showing from the “front door extending from the basement and working its way to the first floor of the house,” according to fire officials.

“[Two] hand lines where stretched to extinguish the fire while simultaneously searching for any residents inside,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “The fire was brought under control quickly and the searches were negative. All the residents made it out safely. 3 Cheshire engines and 1 ladder were on scene along with 1 engine and 1 ladder truck from Southington. There were no reported injuries.”
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Cheshire Fire Marshal’s Office.
