The Depth of View: Graham Honaker Art Opening

The work of artist Graham Honaker of Hamden is deep, literally and figuratively. He creates collages with objects suspended in layers of inches-thick clear epoxy. Photos, newspaper clippings, and 1950s-style print ads are revealed in different levels of the large-format pieces. Honaker said the process creates a “real sense of depth that can only be experienced by viewing the work in person.”

The public is invited to view Honaker’s work up close at an free opening reception and art show on January 8 at the Kohn-Joseloff Gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The reception includes a question and answer session with the artist who will describe his technique and creative process.
