Men and women who relish participation in politics in a spirit of cooperation will enjoy being involved in League of Women Voters’ activities. Cheshire-Wallingford League members invite you to check out those activities during two upcoming events.
On Sunday, September 15, there will be an informal gathering at 855 Cornwall Avenue at 3 p.m. where a wine, cheese, punch and munchies backyard reception will be held to introduce past and present scholarship winners and learn the results of their studies. It will be a fine opportunity to hear the general plan for the year and to sign on to help at the annual candidate forum scheduled for October 22. Contact Cindy at 203 271-5278 for more information.
