Dog Rescued On I-84 In Cheshire: State Police
A Happy Tail: A stray dog was rescued after several callers reported seeing a stray dog on a "very busy" I-84 in Cheshire, state police said
CHESHIRE, CT — A state trooper rescued a dog that was on a “very busy” Interstate 84 East in Cheshire on Friday morning, according to officials.
State police received several 911 calls reporting seeing the dog between Exits 26 and 27 in Cheshire.
“Very quickly, Trooper Stella from Troop A arrived on scene, located the stray dog and rescued the pup from danger,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “The dog had no tags and was not injured. We are proud of the stellar job by Trooper Stella in her dogged attempt to rescue this canine!”
