Noted author Carlos Eire will talk about his new memoir Learning to Die in Miami: Confessions of a Refugee Boy at 7:00pm. Copies of his book will be available for sale and signing. Copies of the book will also be on sale at the library and at the Alphabet Garden Bookstore.
Professor Eire's presentation will be preceded by an hour long concert of Cuban music and followed by a reception catered by New Haven restaurant Zafra.
