Connecticut Chamber Orchestra Concert

Veteran conductor Sayard Stone returns to the library with an encore performance by his highly acclaimed orchestra.

The Connecticut Chamber Orchestra was established under its present name in 1962 by director Sayard Stone, a former Cheshire resident and graduate of the Juliard School of Music.

The New Haven based orchestra is the oldest continuous professional chamber orchestra in Connecticut and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, in major East Coast cities, as well as in Italy and Spain.
