Have you ever wanted to learn to be a museum tour guide, a docent? The Cheshire Historical Society Head Curator, Mary Ellen Kania, is offering a two-session docent class, "Docent 101", which will be held on two consecutive Sunday afternoons: November 4th and November 11th. Mrs. Kania will provide an indepth lecture on the contents of each of the rooms in the historic Hitchcock-Phillips House. Participants will have unique opportunity to learn about the contents of the Cheshire Historical Society from our expert. This may be a one time opportunity and space is limited. There is no charge, just attend with your love of history and especially local history. Please call to reserve a space.
