In 1934, the renowned tenor “Il Stupendo” is set to sing the lead in Otello at a gala fundraiser for the Cleveland Opera Company. Even before the star leaves his hotel room, everything starts to fall apart. A chain-reaction of mistaken identities, farcical plot twists, innuendos and general comedic chaos ensues with plenty of exits and entrances through various doors on stage. Plenty of laughs for all.
