MS Motorcycle Ride

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter is revvin’ up to host its 11th annual benefit motorcycle ride Sunday, July 24. Last year hundreds of bikers saddled up, uniting tires to pavement and hearts to a worthy cause. West Hartford’s NBC Connecticut has been named title sponsor with Outback Steakhouse of Southington signing on as presenting sponsor.

The 2011 NBC Connecticut MS Motorcycle Ride, presented by Outback Steakhouse, will feature boot scootin’ festivities and lunch by Outback Steakhouse. The 50-mile ride will start and finish at Outback Steakhouse in Southington.

The ride traverses a 50-mile route through Connecticut’s breathtaking countryside and quaint back roads. Highlights include a down home barbeque and finish line activities with live music, vendors, drawings for prizes and much more.

Pre-registration is $30 per biker and $20 per passenger. Registration fees include the finish line cookout by Outback Steakhouse. There is a $10 fee per person for those who do not wish to ride but want to take part in the finish line festivities to include the cookout.

Event day registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The ride kick starts from Outback Steakhouse at 11 a.m. sharp. Live music by Diamondback Band! Other partners include Connecticut Cruise News, Haymond Law, Hot Leathers and Country 92.5 FM.

Registration is available online at www.ctfightsMS.org. For more information, e-mail Kevin Gallagher at kgallagher@ctfightsMS.org or call 860-913-2550, ext. 235.
