Peter & the Wolf Performed at the Library

Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev will be featured at the Cheshire Public Library's Sunday Showcase series.  Children and adults alike are welcome to this special holiday condert. Performing the piece will be the Kelet Ensemble.
 
The Kelet Ensemble are on the faculty of the Hartt School Community Division at the University of Hartford. The members of the ensemble are: violinist Katalin Viszmeg from Makó, Hungary; pianist Pi-Hsun Shih from Taichung, Taiwan; and percussionist /narrator Paul Hansen from Denver, Colorado.

Sergei Prokofiev wrote Peter and the Wolf in 1936 to introduce children to classical music.

Free and open to the public. Funded by the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library.
